Texas Star Reading Program

  • What is is?
The Texas Star Reading Program is a reading incentive program designed for middle school students in 91ÖÆƬ³§. The list has been carefully selected by 91ÖÆƬ³§ middle school librarians from state reading lists and award-winning and highly reviewed titles for students in grades 6-8. We encourage self-selection, allowing students to choose books on the list which interest them. Students that read 10 books by a deadline in April will be allowed to attend the Texas Star Celebration!

... but wait, you also get rewarded for every Texas Star book you read! You get a Blow Pop or a sticker! Make sure you have read the entire book and then turn in a review form to Mrs. Roe. You can even just go in and talk about the book instead! So even if you just read one of the books, fill out the form.
