Monday (Theme: “Say Boo To Drugs!”)

- Red stickers will be passed out to students and staff.
- The Royals (students and staff) will be encouraged to wear white. Emphasis will be on how the red stands out on the white because when we say “No To Drugs!” we want to stand out as we stand up for ourselves.
- Today’s segment on the announcements will feature the history of Red Ribbon Week.
Tuesday (Theme: “Look What We Can Be If We’re Drug Free!”)

- The Royals (students and staff) will be encouraged to dress as what they want to be when they are older.
- They will write their dreams on a sticky note at the Red Ribbon table during lunch to post on a mural as they pick up information about the long-term effects of drug abuse.
- Today’s segment on the announcements will point out some of these long-term effects.
Wednesday (Theme: “Turn Your Back On Drugs!”)

- The Royals (students and staff) will be encouraged to wear their shirts backwards.
- At lunch they will drop by the Red Ribbon table to pick up a card and sucker with drug facts on one side and a joke on the reverse side.
- Today’s segment on the announcements will feature resources for those struggling with addiction.
Thursday (Theme: “Dubs Not Drugs!”)

- The Royals (students and staff) will be encouraged to wear Richland spirit wear.
- At lunch they will drop by the Red Ribbon table to take a selfie with medals and a backdrop featuring the stories of survivors of addiction and resource information.
- Today’s segment on the announcements will feature stories of those who have survived addiction.
Friday (Theme: “You’re Kenough Without Drugs!”)

- The Royals (students and staff) will be encouraged to dress like Barbie and Ken.
- Students may drop by the Red Ribbon table to sign our “I Pledge To Be Drug Free!” poster.
- Today’s segment on the announcements will feature a final challenge to wrap up the week.
